Indiana Camps

The Indiana Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans is subdivided into smaller groups of members called camps.

These camps are distributed around the State of Indiana to give members the opportunity to be involved close to their home.

Notice that there are three camps (blue map dots) listed as needing re-activation. The SCV rules require that a camp have at least 7 camp members to continue functioning. Unfortunately, members priorities and desires change, they move away, get sick, and even die. When this happens, there is no choice but to follow the rules. When membership falls below those seven members, the State Division must dissolve the camp and move members to remaining camps. Do you live several counties from a currently established camp? Let us know. We would help you build your camp.
