Do you have a Confederate Veteran in your ancestry? If so, we want you! The Sons of Confederate Veterans was formed by the United Confederate Veterans in 1896 to carry on the work of the men who actually fought the battles for Southern independence.
Rules for Joining
Verifiable Ancestry – Must have documents.
Members of SCV must have a verifiable genealogical link to a Confederate War veteran. Please fill out the contact form and we will get in touch with you. There is a membership application and a geneaology form that must be submitted. If you need help with these, members will gladly assist.
Annual dues is:
National Organization Initial year $45.00 (Renewal $35.00)
State Division Initial year $0.00 (Renewal $10.00)
Local Camp Dues $0.00 (Donations welcomed)
What if you do not have a genetic link?
If you do not have a verifiable link, you may join the organization as a Friend of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
